Close Encounters of the Fall Kind:

After the long, stifling summer, it's time to breathe. Ronen Chen's new collection is an invitation to reconnect with the annual cozy autumn vibe and everything it brings: For some, it’s the desire to dress up again and the craving for elegance. For others, it’s the longing for that drop-dead, self-confident feminine look. Perhaps the return to wrapping yourself up in knitwear, or even the audacity to choose bright, lively colors precisely in the cold season. Or maybe it’s your renewed infatuation with jackets of different cuts and proportions. And most exciting? Revisiting and reinterpreting the classics: The beloved striped knitwear, overshirts, satin dresses, and skirts in a striking combination of prints.

 

“So many women see autumn as an invitation to dress up,” says Chen. “And this season, I offer a variety of intriguing directions for this long-awaited reunion with the season. You may prefer the tailored look — which is influenced, as always, by the male wardrobe — or you can lean toward the designs and colors with purely a female character. In short, you can mix and match however you like to create your own flair."

In the tailored section, Chen offers a selection of elegant items such as a short black leather-like jacket, vests in several cuts, corduroy suits, and loose, baggy outfits. These join a category of dramatic-looking dresses such as satin dresses with a neckline and a tie collar, jacquard dresses, linen dresses in galabia, and others.

The season’s knitwear styles shine with eye-catching asymmetrical cuts and unique cutouts, such as an asymmetrical cape knit, knitwear with a half-and-half look, shoulder openings, and more. The collection includes jackets in various proportions and materials, such as quilted down, brown leather, leather with straps across the back, and more.

One of our most intriguing items this season is the button-down overshirt that can serve as a jacket, especially in the early autumn months. Chen also offers a selection of layer-style button-ups fashioned from corduroy or knitwear.

 

Finally, the collection also includes a selection of dresses and skirts made of silk satin and viscose fabrics in midi cuts, with every option for necklines from business-like conservative to daring and sexy. Along with these, we’ve created a line of striking items featuring bold and fashionable prints such as leaf patterns, flowers, and animals.
